COLLEGE PARK, Ga. – The College Park Skyhawks, the NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, have joined forces with The Aaron’s Company, Inc., to announce an exciting partnership. Aaron’s, a national lease-to-own provider specializing in furniture, appliances, and electronics, will serve as the official jersey patch partner of the Skyhawks and the team’s designated furniture partner. This collaboration will feature the Aaron’s logo on home and away jerseys throughout the 2023-24 season.

Fans can witness the debut of the Aaron’s logo on the Skyhawks uniforms during ‘Home Opening Weekend presented by Georgia Natural Gas’ on Saturday, Nov. 18, and Sunday, Nov. 19. The team will also sport a special 'Heating Up the Southside' uniform for the weekend.

Atlanta Hawks Vice President of NBA G League and 2K League Operations Janice Koon expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing its impact on the jerseys and the overall fan experience at the Gateway Center Arena. The Aaron’s logo integration will commence during every game.

Beyond the jersey patch, Aaron’s will take center stage as the presenting partner for the Skyhawks’ Holiday Game on Dec. 13 against the Greensboro Swarm. Additionally, Aaron’s will play a prominent role in Fan Appreciation Night, marking the team’s final home game of the season on Saturday, Mar. 30, 2024, against the Long Island Nets.

Douglas Lindsay, CEO of Aaron’s, conveyed his pleasure in becoming the official furniture partner of the College Park Skyhawks, emphasizing the commitment to community engagement and creating memorable moments both on and off the court.

The collaboration extends to various Skyhawks assets, including the team’s website roster page, in-game features, and the video board. The Aaron’s logo will be prominently displayed on the scorer’s table during home games and on the bottom of each basket stanchion. As part of this partnership, BrandsMart U.S.A., a leading appliances and consumer electronics retailer owned by The Aaron’s Company, will also be a proud partner of the Skyhawks, featured on in-arena signage.

The Skyhawks launched their fourth season with a successful two-game series in Toronto, securing victories in Head Coach Ryan Schmidt’s debut. The entire 24-game home schedule for the 2023-24 season has been announced, with detailed information available on cpskyhawks.com.
