In a thrilling showdown between the Texans and the Buccaneers, CJ Stroud showcased his incredible talent and leadership. With just 46 seconds left on the clock, Stroud masterfully drove the Texans 75 yards down the field, ultimately sealing the victory with a pinpoint pass to Tank Dell for the game-winning touchdown. This remarkable feat set a new NFL single-game rookie passing yardage record, with Stroud amassing 470 yards and five touchdowns while completing 30 of his 42 passing attempts.

When asked about breaking the record, Stroud humbly attributed his success to a higher power, saying, "That’s a blessing. I ain’t gone lie… I do it for the glory of God." He also expressed a strong sense of responsibility, feeling the weight of being chosen as the #2 pick in the draft.

Stroud's offensive coordinator provided the crucial motivation before that last drive, telling him to be himself and unleash his unique abilities. Tank Dell shone brightly in this game, with six receptions, 114 yards, and two crucial touchdowns, including the game-winner. Noah Brown also delivered an outstanding performance, contributing with six catches for 157 yards and a touchdown.

The Texans' season record now stands at 4-4, and Stroud gave thanks to his faith, saying, "I got to give our glory and praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." He emphasized the importance of faith and opportunities when reflecting on the game.

Losing their kicker added pressure, but Stroud and the Texans embraced it. As Stroud put it, "Either makes diamonds or you fold, and we have a Lotta VVS diamonds on our offense. We like the pressure."

With this remarkable comeback win, the Texans find themselves in second place in their division with a 4-4 record, trailing the Jacksonville Jaguars, who sit at 6-2. This victory stands as one of the most impressive in a season filled with notable successes for the Texans.
