Anytime you hear "No, No, No", you think about one man, Dikembe Mutombo. He was one of the biggest stars in the NBA during his career. Mutombo was loved not only for his remarkable play on the court but also for his impressive height and infectious personality. Mutombo has continued to be a shining light in the NBA community and has also found a way to impact this current generation of NBA fans through commercials, meme-worthy moments, and even movie appearances like his cameo in Coming 2 America (2021).
The NBA announced that Mutombo was undergoing treatments for a brain tumor earlier today.
Mutombo is a currently in Atlanta being treated by a team of specialists. Mutombo was an NBA All-Star while playing for the Atlanta Hawks, from 1995-1998. The Hawks retired his number 55 jersey in 2015. Hawks' Principal Owner Tony Ressler also issued a statement about the Atlanta Hawks' Legend.
